Nikolaj Heiselberg Trap trained set designer at National Theater School and was recruited in 2002 -2004 at Aalborg Theater, where he created scenography for Ibsen's A Doll's House. Since he has worked as a freelance set designer with the task of bl. a. Mungo Park (Anna Bridge and Martin Lyungbos Reumert winning performance Suburban), Teater Grob (Pelle Miller's Way to Heaven and Per Scheel-Krüger I, me and my) Caféteatret (Aleksandersen Okanovics Diamond Dust Shoes and Modern Life), Theater V ( Jakob Weis' Helmer Hardcore) and Teater Momentum in Odense. He has previously cooperated with Veronika Kær about the show Blood Wedding at Gladsaxe New Theater and Lucretia on the royal opera in Denmark 2009.
